GENERAL FAQ ABOUT THE GAME

• What is this game?
  This game is an RPG (Role Playing Game) about Dragonball. I developed this game because I love Dragonball and I wanted to create something different from the usual dragonball-fan-site.

• Is it FREE?
  There are two versions:
  - FREE: The first two levels in Story Mode and four characters in Versus Mode are completely FREE; just register and play!
  - PREMIUM: If you want more characters and levels, please support this site and make a donation; I'll activate your PREMIUM Membership as my thanks.

FAQ ABOUT PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP

• What is PREMIUM Membership?
  PREMIUM Membership is a premium service available only to DragonballGT.net PREMIUM Players.
  I have created PREMIUM Membership to support this site and to offer you more features and exclusive levels.
  

• What do I get?
  PREMIUM Membership gives you a lot of new features:
  - A new level in Story Mode (you will fight against enemies like Piccolo or Vegeta);
  - No limit to your Level in Arcade Mode (Free members cannot play it over level 20);
  - No limit to your Level in Versus Mode (Free members can only reach level 20);
  - Complete Support: you get Top Priority: premium@dragonballgt.net;
  - Tips and Tricks for the game (Story and Versus Mode);
  - More features and levels in the next versions. 
  

• How do I become a PREMIUM Player?

• How do I pay?
  You can pay via PayPal, the most reliable on-line payment service in the world.
  

• When will my PREMIUM Membership be activated after having paid?
  Your PREMIUM Membership will be activated after about 24 hours after the receipt of your payment via PayPal.

• Is there an expiry date for my PREMIUM Membership?
  No, your PREMIUM Membership has no expiry date.

• Have I to pay via credit card?
  You can pay by credit card or e-cheque using PayPal.com

• Do you receive my credit card number?
  No, I don't receive your credit card number. Your credit card number is used only by Paypal.
  Paypal is a service (the most used in the world, like the auctions on ebay.com) which allows you to send and receive money via credit card.

FAQ ABOUT THE STORY MODE

• How does it work?
  You fight as Goku against 3 enemies. You can "Attack", use a "Kamehameha" or a "Zanzoken". If you use a "Kamehameha" or a "Zanzoken" you will consume Spirit Points. You can also recharge your Energy with a Senzu.

• What are Senzus?
  Senzus are special beans, that completely restore your energy. You have a limited number of senzus. At the end of the level, you will get some senzus as a prize.

• How do the charts work?
  The charts show the players ordered by number of Senzus. If you win more senzus, you will be at the top of the charts.

• What are the levels?
  You start at level 1 as a Saiyan. There are just two levels. I will create new levels with new moves next.

• How do I recharge my energy?
  You recharge your energy with a senzu. Note: you can only recharge your Energy, not your Spirit Points.

• What will happen if I have no more Spirit Points?
  You will not be able to use a "Kamehameha" or a "Zanzoken".

• What will happen at the end of the match?
  If you win, you can save your progress. Next time you log in, you will start from the last saved point.

• What will happen at the end of the level?
  You will win some senzus. For example, at the end of the first level, you will get 2 senzus.

• What are the power levels of Goku's moves in the first level?
  Goku's attacks are:
  

  Name of the Attack	Normal Power	Spirit Points (SP) used
  Attack	5	0
  Kamehameha	20	10
  Zanzoken	10	5

  When you attack, the power of your attacks randomly varies.
  These values will increase in the next levels.

• What are the power levels of the enemies' moves?
  The enemies have different Attacks and Special Moves. The Power of their attacks also  randomly varies.
  

FAQ ABOUT THE VERSUS MODE (Multyplayer)

• What is the VERSUS Mode?
  You can play against other human players. The rules are the same of the story mode, except for the senzus, which are no more available (you can recharge your energy using an amount of your Spirit Points).
  This is a TURN-BASED fight: this means that you have to wait your turn to make your move. Player 2 starts the match and make his move, then Player 1 can attack, then Player 2 can counterattack, and so on ...

• How does it work?
  After having logged-in, press the "VERSUS" button. Then press "FIGHT" and a new window will open. In this window you can select your challenger and fight with him or wait in list. If you wait in list, you have to wait that another player challenges you.

• How do I recharge my Energy?
  In VS Mode there are no senzus. You can recharge your energy by pressing the "Recharge" button, which consumes a particular amount of your Spirit Points (SP). There are characters who can refill all their energy bar (ex. Teen Goku) and others who can refill only a part of the total energy (ex. Vegeta).

• Can I recharge my Spirit Points (SP)?
  No, you cannot recharge your SP. This means that you have to pay attention to your moves.

• How many characters are available?
  You can select only "Teen Goku" at the beginning. When you reach a particular level, more characters will be available.

• What will happen if I win?
  You will get an amount of points and your level will increase.
  This amount of points depends on the difference from your level and your enemy level. If you are at level 2 and you win againts a player at level 3, you will get a lot of points an you will increase your level. If you are at level 7 and your enemy is at level 1, you will win only few points.
  If you get a lot of points, your level will increase.

• What will happen if I lose?
  Nothing, if you lose you will not decrease your level or your points. This is a reason to always finish a match.

• What will happen if someone retires?
  The one who retires ALWAYS loses -100 points.
  A player will retire if:
  - he doesn't attack within the time limit of about 30 seconds during his turn;
  - he leaves the game without pressing the "Exit" button.
  

• What will happen if I don't accept a challenge?
  You don't lose anything and you can select another challenger.
  

• I have a very high level and I want to fight against a player with a very low level. Will I win anything?
  You'll win only few points or nothing and your level will remain the same.
  The difference between your level and your enemy's level shouldn't be higher than +5
  For ex.
  - if your level is 10 and your enemy's level is 6, you'll win some points and your level will increase +1;
  - if your level is 20 and your enemy's level is 6, you'll win only few points and your level will remain the same.

• What will happen if I leave the game without pressing the button "Exit"?
  You will lose -100 points because you will retire.
  REMEMBER: always press the "Exit" button to leave the game!
  

• Are there any CHARTS for the Versus Mode?
  Yes, there are 3 charts:
  - Yesterday's Top 100 VS Chart: this shows the yesterday's top 100 players in VS mode ordered by POINTS gained the day before;
  - General VS Chart: in this rank the players are ordered by TOTAL POINTS (the points won from the beginning);
  - Most Powerful Players: this shows the top 100 players in VS mode ordered by LEVEL.

• Is there a countdown to make a move?
  There is a countdown of about 30 seconds.

 

FAQ ABOUT THE CHAT (VS Mode)

• What is it?
  In the lower part of the page (only in VS mode) there is a small window called "CHAT".
  When the fight starts, this window will connect with the other player and you will be able to talk each others.
  The first time you open the chat, your browser will ask you to run the chat. Click Yes (don't worry, nothing will be installed, but this is necessary to use the free service offered by www.planetz.net) and you will be able to chat.

• How do I talk to the other player?
  Select one sentence from the menu "Actions".

• How much time have I to wait before the chat opens?
  About 30 seconds (this depends on your connection speed). Also, the other player could not be immediatly connected with the chat, so please be patient.

• I have waited for long, but the other player didn't join the chat.
  The chat is useful to see if the other player is on-line or not. If you have waited for about 60 seconds, then the other player has probably quit the game.

 

 

FAQ ABOUT PROBLEMS AND ERRORS

• Sometime I get an error page
  Use the right button of your mouse and select Back to reload the page.
  I suggest you to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or 6. Check also if your browser accept cookies.

• I cannot login into my game page
  Go to the home-page and click on the "Reload" button of your browser.

• I forgot my password.
  Please use this page to REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD.

• I cannot beat Jach Chun in Story Mode.
  Use always your Kamehameha to beat him. 

• I cannot wake up Goku during the fight with Jack Chun.
  Tip: click near Goku's nose ... ;)

• My level is always two, while other players are at level 20. Why?
  You have to distinguish the Story Mode from the Versus Mode: the Story Mode has only two levels (free version), while you can reach level 20 in the Versus Mode (free version). These two modes are separate. 

• I cannot see the chat and the buttons in Versus mode.
  Please use Internet Explorer 6 and a screen resolution of 800x600.

• My level in Versus Mode is always the same.
  The difference between your level and your enemy's level shouldn't be higher than +5
  For ex.
  - if your level is 10 and your enemy's level is 6, you'll win some points and your level will increase +1;
  - if your level is 20 and your enemy's level is 6, you'll win only few points and your level will remain the same.

• How do I get new characters in Versus Mode?
  You have to reach at least level 3 in Versus Mode (for Vegeta) and higher for further characters. This works only in VS mode. The FREE version of the game has only four characters.

• Sometime I get an error page in Versus Mode: "It's not your turn. Please click here to go back.", but I'm sure that my turn is right!
  This problem happens only on some computers. You can avoid this situation by going back and reloading the page (click the right button of your mouse on the page and select "reload").

• I cannot increase my level, because I always have to fight against players with a level higher than mine.
  Tip: Create another username and use it as a "dummie" to train your main username.

 

• What is the mobile version?

• Now you can play the game using your cell phone! This is a beta version, which means that it is not complete yet, but still playable.
  You can access the mobile version with your phone pointing your browser to the following url:

• You can play the mobile version with a cell phone which supports HTML, XHTML (wap 2.0) or IMODE

• You don't need to download anything, no java code, no program; it works with the browser of your mobile phone

• This version is completely free, even if it is playable till level 20 (unless you activate your Premium membership).
